Julie Jensen had a funny feeling that her husband was up to something fishy. When this feeling reached a climax in 1998, she handed her neighbor, the police, and her son’s teacher a letter stating that she believed that her husband was trying to kill her and if she suspiciously dies then Mark Jensen should be the first suspect. “I pray I’m wrong and nothing happens,” is one of the last things the forty year old wrote before dying on December 3rd 1998. Today, her letter will serve as a large piece of evidence in her own suspected murder trial.
Reports claim that Mark Jensen, now 48, poisoned Julie on at least two occasions with antifreeze so that he could be with his girlfriend. Ever so coincidentally, that same girlfriend is now Mark’s second wife. On the contrary, the defense attorney is saying that Mrs. Jensen was twisted and depressed and framed her cheating husband by poisoning herself. Julie Jensen left behind two sons and was described by others as being the perfect mom.
Both sides have their set of flaws: Julie Jensen could have sent out those letters as a genuine warning, or as the defense says she could be seeking the ultimate revenge on her unfaithful husband. Either way, I hope that justice is served.
Whose side are you on?

I’m sorry she is dead, the loss of a life is always tragic. But the question is, if she thought something was wrong, why did she stay?

“Julie Jensen poisened herself & left a letter to get the ultimate revenge on her husband”? What an absurd if not an insulting notion…anything to win a case for some…Rest In Peace Julie and May God Bless you and your children always…

NO stable, sane mother kills herself and leaves her children. If there is no other evidence other than what the accused and his pals and/or others suspect, concerning her supposed instability At The Time In Question (not after the fact, not after her letters surfaced implicating him after her death, not after the accused has had plenty of time to fabricate scenarios) ….. then it is highly likely she is telling the truth.
I had essentially the same happen to me, only instead of sticking around to be killed I removed myself and children to the best of my ability. There was also a girlfriend on the part of the cheating lying husband, and they conspired together leaving articles of her clothing around my house and even in my bed for me to find, all along with him claiming I was supposedly so unstable.
No coincidence the same two continued their illicit and extremely damaging to all involved affair, and were actually married later on, either. Good luck to them, the swine deserve each other, not swans. I had a much more beautiful life and the future of all children involved is a lot brighter as a result.
This kind of thing is far more common than anyone realizes I think, and I wish more women could both testify from the grave and also live to tell the tale.
